As the world of retail and ecommerce continues to morph alongside our ever-changing society, it only makes sense for companies to look to the Amazon’s of the world for growth opportunities. Apple used to be known for only selling their products exclusively on their website or in their stores. Slowly they allowed companies like Best Buy, Target, Walmart, cellular companies and others to sell their most popular products. But with Amazon on the rise, it was time for Apple to take the leap: They will now be selling select Apple products such as iPhones and iPads on Amazon.com. This is huge: This means they no longer see Amazon as a threat, but as a universal marketplace where millions of people are going to first-hand to buy their most desires or needed products.
