Popular grocer Kroger has partnered with Walgreens to make it easier for customers to get their groceries. This partnership comes after Kroger announced its autonomous vehicle delivery.  While we see driver-less vehicles as the endgame, Kroger is trying to make the shopping experience better for customer before that time comes.

The new partnership will allow people to pick up groceries from Walgreens. This eliminates the need to make multiple stops when running errands. Kroger knows that autonomous vehicles are the future, but sees the need to make their products more available before then. The partnership will work so that people can stop at Walgreens and do whatever shopping they need to get done and then pick up their groceries while they’re there.

While the future of groceries is autonomous delivery, Kroger is trying to tackle the current situation of how to make themselves more available.
